Yep, you can now buy a new Starling Cycles V3 swing arm direct from our website.
We’re doing this to allow existing Starling Cycles owners to create a new bike, without the investment of buying an entire new frame. Simply keep your existing front end, and add a new back end.
Starling Cycles frames are available in 27.5″, mullet and 29″ versions. And each of these versions is a different combination of front and rear triangles. This means that those swingarms are cross-compatible and allow you to switch your bike between wheel sizes if you fancy a change.

Swing arms come with all the bells and whistles of our V3 complete models. UDH hanger, T-Type compatibility, 180mm post mount brake, Boost/non-Boost compatibility and our 7-year warranty and crash replacement service. They’re available in black only (but email us if you’re desperate for something else).
Before you buy, please remember that a different swing arm doesn’t change your frame’s travel. If you’d like to change travel you’ll need a new shock. And, of course, you’ll potentially need to change forks and wheels.
These swing arms are intended for V3 owners, but if you own an older frame do get in touch and we can advise on what’s possible. There’s a few options available.
We’ll admit, our new swing arms aren’t cheap – but – as a handmade, small batch product they’re a high-end item to produce. And, they offer great value to existing Starling owners vs having to buy a whole new frame.
