No robots, no mass manufacturing, no marginal gains. A tough, timeless and beautiful way to clutch your bars tight and set you apart from the clones.

The Starling Clutch Stem is made in Taiwan and powder-coated in Bristol. It’s available in all of our current and legacy colours to match your frame. 

It even has a pair of beautiful, understated and stainless Starlings on the faceplate as a subtle nod to the brand. 

And we’re making just 50 of them – they’re strictly limited edition. First come, first served.

If you ever want a change of colour, we can repaint it. If your frame gets a refurb in future, we’ll do your stem for free at the same time.

• What’s included: Stem, bolts (M8x20mm), and paint of your choice (spacers and top cap supplied separately).
• Warranty: 2-year warranty, crash replacement/refurb and repaint available.
• How much does it weigh? Who cares? About a banana’s weight more than a boring CNC’d one.
• How stiff is it? No idea. Not too stiff, not too flexy. It feels great.
• What’s the point? It looks great. It holds the handlebar on your bike.
• Will it make me a better rider? You never know.
• What can I use it for? The Clutch is rated for use up to Enduro MTB level.
• Where’s it made? Made in Taiwan by master craftspeople. 
• Lead time: Painted to order; please allow 2-4 weeks from time of order.
